What is cuddle fleece made from?

Cuddle fleece is a super soft fabric made of 100% polyester. It comes in a variety of plain colours and some fabulous patterns from mermaid scales to dog bones, skulls to stars we have some fun crazy patterns available for your project.

Cuddle Fleece uses

Cuddle Fleece is a go to fabric for anything that you are looking to be warm and snuggly. It is so soft it feels so nice against the skin, we actually think it should be called snuggle fleece not cuddle fleece! Thinking of using snuggle fleece? Here are some common items our customers make:

• Clothing - Dressing gowns, loungewear, scarves

Using Cuddle Fleece

• Its is usually easy to identify which is the right and wrong side of patterned cuddle fleece as the pattern will be brighter, more defined on the right side. However, we have had some double sided patterned cuddle fleece too.

• To identify which is the right and wrong side of plain fleece stretch it and see which way the fabric curls, it will curl to the wrong side.

• Ironing is not usually needed on cuddle fleece, but if you do, remember that heat can damage the fabric so it should be covered with another fabric (usually cotton is recommended) with the iron on a low heat setting.
