About Organdy…

Organdy, also spelled organdie is a sheer translucent fabric usually made from cotton. Organdy is a popular choice for creating elegant and delicate garments and decorative items. Commonly used to make bridal gowns and wedding decorations, evening gowns and children’s event clothing, curtains and table runners, this fabric can come in handy for a lot of projects. It can also be used to assist in projects as it is ideal for creating ruffles, tiers, overlays and decorative elements in garments and home décor. We have also found it works really well on photoshoots!

Organdy fabric is most commonly found in a variety of plain colours, but it can also come in a variety of designs such as rainbow, patterns and embellishments already attached.
